A Family Kitchen

They say a kitchen is the heart of a home. This is a renovation done for a growing and busy family’s home. The project included updates to the kitchen, mudroom and pantry. Having spent time in this space prior to renovating it, it was clear that the organization of the kitchen, dining and living room worked very well. The challenge was to make sure not to lose what worked very well from an open plan concept aspect while solving some of the spatial deficiencies that the clients were experiencing.

By capitalizing on underutilized spaces and better organizing circulation within the home we were able to create a larger kitchen, a more functional entry and mudroom with an ample walk in pantry which maintaining the connectivity of the main space.
